Problem confrontation of sugarcane farmers in Natore district of Bangladesh

The present study was conducted to explore the problems of sugarcane farmers in selected areas Natore district Bangladesh. A total 100 were from Lalpur upazila by using a simple random sampling technique. Data collected through individual interviews during October November, 2019 structured interview schedule. Both descriptive and inferential statistics used analyze data. majority (80%) had medium cultivation. Among twenty problems, difficulty getting setts identified as most critical one, followed low market price sugarcane. least important problem faced lack labour for Correlation analysis revealed that credit received, input availability, extension media contact significantly associated with farmers. indicated some opportunities policymakers address dominant factors i.e. increasing production. Moreover, facilities, supply inputs, proper training access services could play vital role lessening cultivation.
